New Theoretic Records Release - Wallow in Change by Adam John
Adam John – Wallow In Change
This new dubstep release features some dark, grimey and glitched out beats for the dubstep masses. Change is a bit of a roller with some morphing, neuro influenced basslines that are wrapped up nicely with my typical eerie and atmospheric sound. Wallow tends to float around on the IDM range, but still retains that dancefloor vibe with a nasty bassline keeping things intact. Glitch drums and atmospheres with a side of funk thrown in to keep it all interesting.

Artist: Randy Soeung EP Title: 7 Days A Week House/Tech House Headset Recordings 2009 ——————————————————————– Tracklisting: 1. Randy Soeung – 7 Days A Week (Original Mix) 2. Randy Soeung – 7 Days A Week (Eric Sharp feat George Cochrane Remix) 3. Randy Soeung – 7 Days A Week (Angel Alanis Remix) ——————————————————————–
7 Days A Week is a quirky, feel-good dancefloor chugger from Randy Soeung of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Randy has previously released on MyHouse-YourHouse Records (“Wrong Turn” with Ben Armstrong) and created a monster of a remix for Headset Recording’s last EP (“Freaky Deaky” by Jason Merle) Randy can be heard weekly on his live webcast, Household Science on link
-Randy Soeung’s original mix marches bubbly and robotic synth chords through rings of wet and choppy vocal stabs. The bassline mutters and mumbles the low end while stuttering samples help build the progression in subtle layers until the lead out.
-Eric Sharp (Prismatic Records and upcoming Rock It Science Laboratories) borrows his buddy George Cochrane (aka Origami of Prismatic Records) to lay down a live rubbery bassline for his remix, a tribute to the French Disco House genre.
-Angel Alanis (A Squared, Catalyst) rounds out the rest of the EP with his dubby remix, an 11 minute techy voyage through tribal drum and space. Angel perforates his drum patterns with haunting keys and vocals from the original mix to create a gigantic dancefloor builder.
